"I have very mixed feelings about this piece of jewelry and was disappointed when I finally purchased/recieved it. I feel the emeralds and sapphires are not the same as the Internet image. The Internet image shows vibrant stones in strong colors and the black diamond is clearly seen. In the piece I purchased the stones are muddy looking. The emeralds look cloudy and light, while the sapphires are very dark. There is very little sparkle, either with indoor or natural light and the black diamond is hard to see against the dark sapphires. That said, the piece in person has a sparkle with the white diamonds in the wing outline and tail. The delicate carvings of the wings and tail are beautiful, both in the gemstone side, as well as the reverse. The carving details are fine enough to wear this as a gold piece only. I am still debating if I return it or make an exchange. As of this review, I have not contacted Effy directly to consult with them."
