Every piece of Effy jewelry is designed and crafted at our headquarters in New York City, where our team of skilled artisans brings each design to life with meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.
All our diamonds and gemstones are responsibly and ethically sourced. Our supply chain is fully transparent and we directly source all our natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds and colored gemstones from known and trusted sources, ensuring you can feel as good about the jewelry you're wearing as you look.
We source natural diamonds, lab grown diamonds and colored gemstones from mines and trusted partners all over the world, with an unwavering focus on quality, color and selection.
All of our diamonds and gemstones are carefully evaluated for quality factors including cut, color, clarity and carat weight. While not all stones are accompanied by certification, every loose diamond offered in our Ring Builder includes a third-party grading report. Our High Jewelry/Vault pieces may include third-party grading or identification/origin reports as indicated on the product page. Upon request, we can provide a replacement value appraisal.
For customers in and around New York City, our Effy Hematian flagship store at 590 Fifth Avenue offers jewelry repair, evaluation and service from our onsite jeweler. Our online order history currently only captures purchases made at EffyJewelry.com. Transactions made in-store are not yet reflected in your online account. Products & Materials
Our yellow, rose and white gold jewelry is crafted in 14K or 18K gold. We created our own unique EFFY formulations for yellow and rose gold and there are subtle variations in the hue of our 14K and 18K yellow and rose gold jewelry.
925 refers to the purity of the silver we use in our jewelry. It means that our silver is 92.5% pure silver combined with another metal to create sterling silver alloy.
Yes. All our white gold jewelry is rhodium plated for an ultra-bright, lustrous and crisp white finish. Rhodium belongs to the platinum group of metals and is highly reflective and corrosion resistant, providing protection against scratches and improving durability.
White gold jewelry is silvery and icy in appearance thanks to its rhodium plating and weighs the same as yellow and rose gold. Platinum is naturally silver-white in color, does not require rhodium plating and is much denser than gold and also much heavier. This makes platinum a good option for rings but not necessarily earrings or other types of jewelry.
Yes, our jewelry is stamped to certify the material composition of the precious metal we used to create it. 925 indicates sterling silver, we use 18K and 14K stamps on our gold jewelry and PLAT, PT for our platinum rings.
Diamonds and gemstones have different care requirements. We create and craft our jewelry in a wide array of diamonds and gemstones including porous, organic and opaque gems. EFFY's foam jewelry cleaner is suitable for all precious and semi-precious gems and jewelry and ideal for cleaning on the go. Our professional-grade cleaning kit is designed for cleaning, polishing and reviving your finest pieces.
- Diamonds: Wash with warm water and mild dish soap and gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. Diamond jewelry can be soaked for 5 minutes to loosen dirt and grease. Rinse under warm water and dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Rubies, Sapphires and most colored jewels: Wash in lukewarm water and mild dish soap and gently scrub with a very soft brush. Rinse under lukewarm water and dry with a lint-free cloth.
- Emeralds: Emeralds are sensitive to heat and moisture and should not be soaked or exposed to high temperatures. To clean them, wipe gently with a soft cloth or bring them to a trusted jeweler to be refreshed.
- Opals: Opals contain water and can crack if they are exposed to heat or very dry conditions. The best way to clean opal jewelry is with a clean, damp cloth.
- Pearls: Pearls are delicate and porous. For the best cleaning results, wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Pearls should never be submerged in water or ultrasonic cleaners.
- Gold, platinum and silver: Can be easily cleaned at home using warm water and mild dish soap. Soaking for 5–10 minutes helps loosen dirt. Use a soft brush to gently remove dirt. Rinse under warm water and dry with a lint-free cloth. White gold may need to be re-plated with rhodium every few years to maintain its bright appearance. Avoid exposing white gold to chlorine as it can damage rhodium plating. Platinum will develop a natural patina over time. Silver jewelry can tarnish over time and heavily tarnished pieces may require a silver cleaning solution.
Effy Value represents styles that are priced as everyday value items and are typically excluded from further discounts or promotions, unless otherwise noted.
Our Final Call items represent styles that are no longer part of ongoing production. Unless discontinued, we may still be able to offer special orders on Final Call styles, pricing subject to current production costs.
Final Call is not Final Sale. Our Final Call Collection means that once it goes out of stock, we will not restock the item. It is the final chance to order something.
Yes. We offer a selection of jewelry featuring lab grown diamonds alongside our natural diamond pieces. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically and optically identical to mined diamonds and are an excellent choice for those seeking a sustainable option.

Sizing
We recommend visiting a local jewelry store to have your finger professionally sized for the most accurate result.
We generally stock our women's rings in size 7 and men's in size 10. A sizing range is provided on each product page, if applicable, depending on the design complexity of the ring. Please note that those sizes are not available in stock, but require sizing work by our jewelers. Ring sizing typically takes 3–4 weeks to process.
Yes, ring resizing is available. We stock most women's styles in size 7 and men's in size 10. Sizing outside the standard range requires work by our jewelers and typically takes 3–4 weeks. Please note that some intricate designs may have limited sizing options. Contact us for details specific to your piece.
Pricing & Promotions
Effy Jewelry operates in the U.S. and all prices are listed in US Dollars. However, based on your location, and your browser's ability to detect your foreign IP location, prices will be displayed in your local currency.
We continuously strive to offer a high quality product at the best possible price. Factors associated with supply chain, inflation, and raw materials (gold, diamonds, etc.) costs may impact our prices from time to time.
We do offer discount combination/stacking in certain instances. Please see terms and conditions for information on a specific promotion.
Effy only offers third party installments or financing at this time. We currently offer Zip and Affirm at checkout.
Gift Cards
We do offer online gift cards at EffyJewelry.com. Please note e-gift cards are redeemable online at EffyJewelry.com only.
Your Effy online gift card will be delivered via email and contain a unique code. You may enter your code at checkout to apply the full value of your card. If the purchase value is less than the gift card amount, the balance will remain on your card for future use.
Shipping
We offer free shipping on all U.S. domestic orders, with some additional services available at an extra flat fee. All international orders are subject to a shipping charge. International duties, taxes and fees are the full responsibility of the buyer and will be collected by the carrier prior to delivery.
We require direct signature on all packages to ensure safe delivery. If you require any changes or cannot be available for delivery, please contact us immediately.
All lead times are listed on the product page and in your order confirmation email. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. Transit time varies depending on method and location. Please check your order confirmation for more information.
Please refer back to your order confirmation email, which includes a link to track your order progress.
Our outer shipping packaging is completely unbranded and makes no mention of jewelry, so your order arrives discreetly.
If you need to cancel your order or make any changes, please contact us within 24 hours of placing the order. If emailing us, kindly include 'CHANGE or CANCEL ORDER # [order number]' in the subject line. Please note that because our team works hard to process orders as quickly as possible, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
For insurance reasons, we are not able to reroute packages once they ship.
All packages are shipped with a signature required. If you are traveling or not expecting to be home, contact us when you place the order and we can gladly hold the shipment until you are available. Should the order ship, FedEx will typically make 3 consecutive delivery attempts and then return it back to the sender. After each attempt, you will generally have the opportunity to pick up the package from a local facility. You can find the address of your pick-up location either on a door tag left by the delivery person or by calling 1-800-GO-FEDEX and referencing your tracking number.

Effy Jewelry uses FedEx to ship orders over $75 USD and cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Orders under $75 USD are shipped with USPS and can be delivered to PO Boxes.
Yes, we offer expedited shipping options at an additional flat fee for U.S. domestic orders. Expedited shipping is subject to item availability and lead times. Select your preferred shipping method at checkout.
Returns & Exchanges
We offer free returns on all eligible U.S. domestic online orders. Effy Jewelry will provide a free one-time pre-paid return label on eligible orders. Should any additional eligible items be returned in the same order, the shipping return will be at the customer's expense.
We at Effy want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you may return your item(s) for refund, exchange or merchandise credit within 30 days from the date of shipment. If returned between 31 and 45 days from date of shipment, an exchange or merchandise credit will be granted. We will gladly accept items that are unworn, unaltered and free from scratches and blemishes. Please note that this policy does not include free or gift-with-purchase items. In addition, all custom-made products, including rings designed with our Ring Builder, are final sale and not returnable.
Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
We offer exchanges or merchandise credit for 45 days from the date of shipment. An exchange does not restart or extend the refund policy, which remains 30 days from the original ship date. We will gladly accept items that are unworn, unaltered and free from scratches and blemishes.

We do not accept any returns of purchases made at a third-party retailer.
Refunds for online orders are issued in the order they are received, typically within 2–3 business days from the receipt of the package. Depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2–10 business days after your credit is issued for it to post to your account. For in-store purchases, Effy Caribbean or onboard a cruise ship, please refer to the back of your receipt for additional information or email us at customercare@effyjewelry.com.
Unfortunately, we do not have a buy-back program at this time.
Effy Jewelry offers a lifetime upgrade policy on most items. Upgrades will be honored only if the new purchase price is greater than twice the amount of the original purchase. The original piece must be in new condition and accompanied by the original receipt. Upgrades are valid on purchases made at an Effy Boutique or EffyJewelry.com only.
The following items are not eligible for return: special orders (which are generally considered Final Sale), items that have been worn, altered, or show signs of damage, and purchases made through third-party retailers. Effy Watches may be returned within 14 days of purchase or delivery, provided they are unworn, unused, in new condition, and returned with all original packaging and documentation. Please contact us with questions about a specific item.
Special Orders
Styles may be special ordered with customization when it comes to gold color, size or length. We do not offer customization in terms of anything requiring a new design mold or changes in stone configuration.
Our typical lead time on special orders is 12 to 16 weeks.
Special orders may be canceled within 14 days from the date of purchase.
Most special orders are considered Final Sale, unless otherwise noted. Please consult your sales associate prior to placing the order for return or exchange eligibility.
Special Order prices are determined by the current production cost and may be different from what is listed for an in stock item.
Warranty & Registration
Effy Jewelry stands by the quality and craftsmanship of each product we manufacture; that is why we offer this Limited Lifetime Warranty. Please register your Effy purchase online. Your original receipt is required for all warranty service. We agree to repair or replace any items which we deem to be damaged due to a manufacturing defect. This warranty expressly excludes coverage for excessive wear and tear and/or physical/accidental abuse, loss (including loss of stones) and theft. We also will not replace or repair any free or gift-with-purchase items. Repair, sizing or service performed by anyone other than Effy Jewelry will immediately void the warranty.

Please note that registration is for your online account records only. No confirmation email will be sent nor will a physical certificate be mailed. Your Effy Jewelry receipt acts as your certificate of authenticity. Should you require an appraisal document for insurance purposes, send us an email at customercare@effyjewelry.com and reference your receipt number.

On your Effy receipt, the SKU number appears to the left of the line item image, directly above the bar code. For purchases made at an authorized retailer, you may use the retailer's Item Number or UPC number. If no numbers are available, simply enter the description of the item to the best of your knowledge.
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. We will repair or replace any item we determine has been damaged due to a manufacturing defect. The warranty does not cover excessive wear and tear, physical or accidental damage, loss (including stone loss), or theft. Any repair or sizing performed by a party other than Effy Jewelry will void the warranty.
Effy Rewards
Effy Rewards is our free loyalty program that allows you to earn points on every purchase and redeem those points toward future orders.

No. Effy Rewards is completely free to join, and everyone who signs up is automatically placed in the Family tier.
There is no minimum purchase requirement to earn points on standard orders. However, for a referral to qualify (where both you and your friend each earn 2,000 points), your friend must spend $500 or more on a single purchase.
You earn 1 point per $1 spent on Effy Jewelry. Depending on your VIP tier, you may earn more than 1 point per dollar (up to 4x). You can also earn points through:
• Page Visits: 100 points each for visiting and following us on Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook.
• Birthday Reward: 1,000 points on your birthday.
• Anniversary Reward: 500–5,000 points, depending on your tier.
• Referral Program: You and your friend each get 2,000 points if they spend $500+ via your unique referral link.

No. Points are earned on the merchandise subtotal only. Taxes, shipping costs, and any additional fees are not included.

Yes. If you return an entire order that was discounted with points, we will refund you the amount charged to your payment method and restore the redeemed points to your account.
Use your unique referral link to invite a friend. When your friend spends at least $500 in a single transaction, both of you receive 2,000 points. If a friend's purchase doesn't meet that minimum, the referral bonus won't be awarded.

The four VIP tiers — Family, Enthusiast, Loyalist, and Collector — are based on your rolling 12-month spend. Each tier offers higher point multipliers and special perks:

Yes. Your accumulated points carry over when you advance to a higher VIP tier — nothing is lost. You'll simply begin earning at the higher multiplier rate from the moment your tier is upgraded.
No. Effy Rewards points can only be redeemed against the merchandise price of an item. Labor, alterations, repairs, and other service or customization charges are not eligible for point redemption.

Because of his engineering background, our founder and designer, Mr. Effy Hematian, was fascinated by the art of horology. Many years ago, for a brief period, a selection of Effy watches was released to the market. To honor the Effy brand legacy, the Hematian family has relaunched Effy Watches with a collection that pays homage to our own history of timepieces.
We can all appreciate the beauty and function of a quality timepiece. For this reason, Effy Watches are designed for individuals, regardless of their gender. The selection of case sizes, options for automatic, quartz and chronograph models as well as diverse style options means there's an Effy timepiece for everyone.
A movement refers to the part of the watch that drives the hands on the watch face to make it tick. It's often described as the engine of a watch. The two types of movements used in Effy Watches are automatic and quartz.
An automatic timepiece is a self-winding manual watch that uses the wearer's wrist movement to power itself. This eliminates the need for batteries or regular manual winding. Automatic watches have a rotor that spins when the arm moves and winds a mainspring. The mainspring stores and releases energy to keep the watch running.
A quartz watch uses a battery-powered electronic oscillator to keep time. A battery sends an electric current through a tiny quartz crystal, causing it to vibrate at a very precise and stable frequency. An electronic circuit counts these vibrations and sends an electrical pulse to a tiny motor which moves the watch hands to show the time.
Caliber is the specific model of a watch movement, defining its size, features and how it functions. It is often identified by a unique number or code. Timepiece caliber information is available on the product page for each Effy Watch.
A chronograph is a timepiece that includes a stopwatch function in addition to displaying the time. Most chronographs have sub-dials on the timepiece face that record the seconds, minutes and hours of the stopwatch function.
A skeleton watch is a mechanical timepiece with the dial stripped away to show the inner workings, such as the bridges, gears and wheels. The design showcases the intricate movement and craftsmanship of the timepiece. Our Effy Watches Chronograph model also includes an 'exhibition back' case which shows the inner workings from the back.
Yes. All our Effy Watches are made in Switzerland because of its long-standing reputation for quality, precision and craftsmanship backed by a venerable tradition of innovation and engineering that ensures reliability and durability for generations.
Yes. Our in-house watch specialists are fully trained in measuring and adjusting links in watch bracelets, and this service is offered at point-of-purchase in our stores as well as by our customer care team for online purchases. Comprehensive repairs and maintenance are carried out by the repair specialists at our NYC headquarters. Simply contact the Effy support team on our website or visit an Effy store.
The protective cover, also known as the crystal, is made from high quality durable sapphire crystal to ensure your Effy timepiece remains beautiful and functional. Sapphire crystal is renowned for its scratch resistance and high clarity, making it perfect for everyday use.
Water resistance in timepieces refers to the ability to withstand water pressure and prevent water from entering the case. It is usually measured in atmospheres (ATM) or meters. Effy Watches fall into two categories of water resistance: 50m/5ATM, suitable for swimming in shallow waters, showering and bathing, and 100m/10ATM, suitable for swimming, snorkeling and water sports. Our product description pages include details of each model's water resistance.
Individual battery life varies between each of our quartz caliber models and ranges from 40 months to 10 years. Battery life details are included on the product description page for each model in our Effy Watches collection.
Our Swiss-made timepieces include cases crafted in 18 Karat yellow and rose gold, stainless steel and titanium. Some stainless steel or titanium models also include PVD (physical vapor deposition) coatings. This colored titanium nitride coating enhances color, durability and resistance to wear and corrosion.
Watch strap and bracelet materials include calf leather, lizard leather, stainless steel, silicone, rubber, titanium (with PVD), and nylon. Our watch straps have prong closures, and our watch bracelets feature deployment buckles.
The sapphire crystal on some models of Effy skeleton watches features diamond-inspired kite-shaped facets crafted into the crystal around the bezel. This feature was envisioned and developed by our founder and designer, Mr. Effy Hematian, and his grandson Yonatan as a nod to our history as a jewelry brand.
Yes. Your Effy watch is covered by the Effy Limited Watch Warranty, which covers manufacturing defects only and is subject to its terms and conditions. Please note that Effy Watches are not eligible for the Effy Jewelry Upgrade Policy.
