Fraud and misrepresented Item
"I will be waiting to hear from upper management until finishing this review, so far my experience has been frustrating to say the least. 4 employees lied to me about this ring. They insisted the stones they used were all natural and not lab created. That was a lie confirmed by Effy support later on. The employees at the location where purchased pushed this sale hard, at one point 4 employees were surrounding my fiance and I assuring us of the quality and uniqueness of this ring, especially that the diamonds were not lab created. I was assured by 4 employees thay thos was the case. Natural stones are something I insisted on from the start, before even trying it on. This is very important to me. I was very clear on this (no lab created gemstones) They told me this was a one of a kind ring and could not be ordered again from Effy and again reassured me this ring only contained natural sapphire and diamonds. They resized the ring within a few hours, the resize was done incorrectly and has compromised the security of the gemstones and stability of the ring. Effy support has offered a refund or said I could send it in rontheir New York office and they would fix what they thought was necessary. Effy sold us a ring under false pretenses, misrepresented goods and charged 3k for it. The receipt does not say whether or not the diamonds are real or lab created. The receipt is all that is offered as a certificate of authenticity. This was meant to be an engagement ring and has instead put undue stress on what was meant to be a happy memory. I have asked that Effy allow me to take the ring to a jewler in my town, who has already been proven reputable, so they can switch the diamonds to natural while resizing correctly to stabilize with Effy covering the cost. I am waiting to hear back."
